Enlightening listening
My favourite Erin podcast. Updated regularly, insightful and interesting. Like listening to a friend
Excellent podcast, bringing a unique perspective.
The fact that this podcast is produced by someone who knew Erin online brings a unique perspective that mainstream journalists lack. The podcast benefits from the insight this provides, in addition to the thorough research that has obviously gone into producing it. Don’t let the negative reviews left by a clique of Erin’s supporters cloud your judgement. If you are interested in The Mushroom Murders, please have a listen and decide for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. If you enjoy the podcast, please take the time to leave a review.
Refreshing!!
Brilliant insight and information
Beige Pants Dark Heart
Great episode title - neat summary of Erin. I enjoyed the references to psychology journals, highlighting Erin’s immature personality and underlying pathologies. Would be great to unearth more about her early life, and I suspect the emotional neglect/ abuse from parent/s. Is it true her mother wrote children’s books - but hated children? And liked to regularly weigh Erin to prevent getting fat? She sounds like a nasty nutter
Funny and Fantastic
Lisa treats your ears with the best Australian storytelling regarding everything Erin.
Top Quality.
I have listened to all the Mushroom pods and this rates right up there. The ongoing analysis since the verdict is excellent. And on the money opinion wise. Great work.
Best podcast
Your podcast is the best out there. I tell everyone to listen. You are the most real out of everyone. Keep it coming
Informative and interesting
I find this podcast really interesting and inciteful. Has bit of information about Erin Patterson and her case that I’ve never heard before in the media nor in other YouTube videos/podcasts. I like the author’s persona and delivery and her insights on Patterson’a prior Facebook activity. A thumbs up from me.

Lisa: Only Investigative Reporter needed as a little Erin Patterson goes a v long way..🫒☠️
"Killing people by accident with a badly prepared, poorly cooked or totally misunderstood Beef Wellington is truly tragic, not vile or despicable....but an actual, maliciously pre-planned and previously poisoned Wellesley Wellington...a long considered, poorly plotted, pitifully prepped, “Chalice from the Palace, Vessel with the Pestle,” suspiciously sourced, dehydration disguised and booby-trapped steak & mushroom pie targeted against your own husband as as many of his family as your “faked cancer cry” can summon? Utterly, Diabolically Despicable and Indefensible... but then again I'm an Englishman so suitably outraged…not just for those poor people injured / murdered; the choice of mushroom Pâté, pastry and beef as murder weapon but for the infamous pall now cast over the notion of ‘Hospitality’ and all of those suffering or lost to assorted cancers also….. Fabulous Podcast ty Lisa; professional, diligent, creditable and particularly engaging journalism... as always the perfect companion for idol moments, long drives / working late deep into the ‘dark and lonely,’ and exposing an absolutely idiotic and diabolical level of self loathing, ignorant, malicious evil, ‘orrid opportunity, cold hearted preparation and steadfast determination to do away with possibly trusting & unsuspecting dinner’s...more of the same please..for us..not more unsuspecting dinner’s! Ps Whilst you could cover a little of your cost's with this meagre monthly subscription....I would personally prefer it if you just enjoyed your Caramel Koalas instead! Cheers Lisa and thank you Spider 🕷️
True crime
I’m hooked on this story. Like most Aussies, we want justice for the family.
Still loving this
Amazing that you knew her
WOW
This podcast is wild. The Mushroom Murder Trial is one of the craziest true crime stories I’ve ever heard, and the way they tell it is actually so good. It’s easy to follow, super interesting, and kinda addictive. Every episode has me like “wait, what!?”
Excellent listen
This is a good podcast to listen to so you get a different take on the story. I also appreciate the newsletters and bonus content.

A unique and independent perspective
Love it! Really well done. This podcast is great coverage of the Erin Patterson case without sensationalism. Lisa has a unique perspective that makes it stand out from the usual true crime format. I’m hooked on this case and would love love love longer episodes pleeeeaaase.
Outstanding insight
Lisa is awesome, have listened to multiple podcasts by her. She provides legal insight, helps you to understand the different jurisdictional issues and as a career journalist is a trusted source of info. Three alleged murders, is devastating for the family. You want someone with respect, navigating the constraints whilst giving true insight and facts.
Can’t wait to learn more & read the book about Erin
I recommend people listen to the podcast because I found it informative. It is such a sad story. I have an open mind about Erin, but it isn’t looking good.
